What is a school council?

A school council is group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school.

At St Peter’s the school council is made up of seven pupils, one from each class who represent their class on a weekly basis to  discuss school matters and make decision on behalf of the other pupils. The school council are responsible for organising and planning events, meeting visitors and representing our school.
